On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Process Control and Improvement Manager to lead initiatives that optimize business processes, strengthen internal controls, and drive continuous improvement. This role involves assessing risks, streamlining workflows, implementing SOPs, and ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to collaborate across teams to improve performance and support strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s process control and improvement strategy, aligned with organizational objectives;
- Establish governance frameworks for business process management and ensure adherence across all departments;
- Define process standards, guidelines, and metrics for monitoring efficiency and compliance;
- Conduct detailed reviews of existing workflows, policies, and procedures across finance, operations, procurement, supply chain, and production;
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, and risk points in critical processes;
- Lead redesign and optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality;
- Implement automation, digital tools, and best practices to improve process reliability and scalability;
- Design, implement, and monitor robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance;
- Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks, and develop mitigation strategies;
- Lead initiatives for process improvement, operational excellence, and performance enhancement;
- Introduce Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency;
- Define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track process performance;
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement;
- Develop and lead change management programs to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies;
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing programs to raise awareness of best practices and internal controls;
- Support teams in understanding and implementing standardized processes across the organization;
- Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and project teams to align operational processes with strategic goals;
- Serve as a key advisor on process-related decisions, operational risks, and improvement opportunities;
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management and board-level stakeholders on process performance, risk management, and operational improvement initiatives;
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance productivity, compliance, and cost efficiency;
- Benchmark processes against industry standards and incorporate best practices into the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree or certification in Lean/Six Sigma is an advantage).
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in process improvement, internal control, or operations management, preferably in manufacturing, import/export, or service industries
Additional Skills:
- Strong understanding of business process mapping, risk management, and compliance frameworks;
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methodologies;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage cross-functional teams;
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and process management tools.
